“Music Box for Life” (MBFL) is a 100% voluntarily run charity.
NONE of the Directors, volunteers or artists involved is in receipt of ANY remuneration and / or expenses in relation to the set-up and operation of this charity.
Our guarantee to donors / sponsors and supporters is that 100% of all funds raised via the charity will go directly to providing essential life saving equipment and / or services at Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin, Dublin.
The people involved in the founding and the ongoing operation / expansion of the charity are giving their time, expertise and all possible facilities at zero cost to the charity.
This is just one of the crucial aspects that make MBFL unique.
The ONLY dilution from that 100% will be in terms of absolutely necessary and unavoidable costs and fees incurred in connection with online delivery etc. Examples being internet hosting / bandwidth fees, transaction processing fees, such as credit card transaction fees and other electronic commerce processing, patent royalties or other fees, payable to or retained by unaffiliated but necessary commercial third parties in connection with effecting a transaction , returns and credits, including, but not limited to, those on account of defective merchandise, errors in billing, and errors in transmission.
This is our unequivocal commitment to you.
We felt that it was important from the outset that:
A) The charity would be completely “not for profit” AND
B) The funds raised by the charity would bypass any route, which could dilute the funding raised by incurring unnecessary administration and / or other costs.
